Taiaha On A Stand - Wood Carving

Taiaha On A Stand, the Arero the tongue has been fully carved on both sides with pāua eyes in the Upoko (head) where the base from which the tongue protrudes. The Ate (liver) is the flattened wooden end which was used for striking.  Size: Base 770mm x 80mm x 35mm. Taiaha 760mm x 60mm x 50mm widest part Taiaha has feathers decorating the shaft.
