These beautiful handcrafted Korowai, are double lined with heavy duty poplin, and the bands are quality made here in New Zealand.

Green coque and white hen colours taken from Pounamu rock found in the rivers of the South Island. It is considered a taonga (treasure). Pounamu taonga increase in mana (prestige) as they pass from one generation to another. The most prized taonga are those with known histories going back many generations. These are believed to have their own mana and were often given as gifts to seal important agreements.

Absolutely beautiful and very very impressed with this beautiful korowai. This was purchased for not only myself for my graduation in March but for my children for when they graduate college.
For this beautiful piece it is absolutely best value for your money and bonus factor is they offer after pay if you can't pay upfront of the cost of it straight away.
Only one critique is I couldn't see if you sell a korowai cover although it comes with its own hanger just no cover However this doesn't affect the 5 star rating at all :)
