Mere are a short-handled weapon shaped like a club with a flat elongated edge designed for close combat. Though they were made from a variety of mediums such as wood or bone ones carved from pounamu were highly prized.

Mere are a symbol of courage, respect, strength and overcoming challenges.

Comes with a Koha (gift) of a 27cm x 27cm Korowai to use for presentation purposes.

Made in NZ from South Island Tangiwai Pounamu with beautiful apple green colouring.

Wood grain and colour may vary to the one pictured and due to it being handcrafted by different carvers there might be a slight difference
