Made in NZ from sustainably harvested tulip wood.
This piece has Pāua inlay set in the eyes and belongings to the Meremere or short combat weapons group. Patu is a plain, but very lethal club, particularly when made of greenstone (ponamu or jade). Patu means ‘to pierce and chop’, and was used with great skill and dexterity during battle.
WOOD GRAIN AND COLOUR MAY VARY TO THE ONE PICTURED. If you want a particular colour please ask and I will try to accommodate you with my stock.

I purchased a 21st patu on a stand with a cloak and not only did they contact me to check which font I would like because I missed it when filling out details for the patu, I was holding my son's Patu not even 24hrs later!
